It's also Shakespeare season, and I had butts on the brain, so although our local Shakespeare in the Park is performing <i>Twelfth Night<\/i>, here's a little <i>Midsummer Night's Dream<\/i>:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"quoted-stuff\">BOTTOM<br \/>I see their knavery. This is to make an ass of <br \/>me, to fright me, if they could. But I will not stir <br \/>from this place, do what they can. I will walk up <br \/>and down here, and I will sing, that they shall hear <br \/>I am not afraid.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><span class=\"quoted-stuff\"><b><sup>1<\/sup>ass<\/b> \\'as, 'aa(&#601;)s, 'ais <i>also<\/i> '&#551;s <i>in NE & Brit esp (in Brit at least) in sense 2<\/i>\\ <i>n<\/i> <span style=\"font-variant:small-caps\">-es<\/span> [ME <i>asse<\/i>, fr. OE <i>assa<\/i>, perh. fr. OIr <i>asan<\/i>, fr.
